Amelia has found her voice!

Earlier in the year, I was asked by Tracey Hiete-Smith if I would be interested in joining her as she hosted her podcast, “Open Stance”. This podcast provides a voice for survivors of, and advocates for survivors of sexual abuse.

To date, the series has hosted former American Olympic Swimmers Nancy Hogshead-Makar and Kim Rhodenbaugh-Lewallen, American Olympic High Jumper Erin Aldrich-Shean and one of Australia’s most well known NRL referee’s Gavin Badger. All of these people have harrowing stories of survival to tell, stories that will break your heart whilst at the same time celebrate their resilience, strength and courage.

Now it’s my turn. This conversation is frank, confronting and at times very difficult, however it is also honest, real and demonstrative of the power of healing when voices come together for a single purpose.
